Bay BitHack is a bitcoin and blockchain at UC Berkeley. Last year, we held the first and largest intercollegiate bitcoin hackathon. This year we are going to hold an even larger one.

The second iteration of the world's intercollegiate first Bitcoin and Blockchain hackathon. With representation from schools in the Bay Area, we aim to be the world's greatest university blockchain hackathon in terms of both quantity of hackers and quality of hacks.

Judging Criteria

  • Originality
    Hackers will be judged on how original and creative their hack is.
  • Functionality
    Hackers will be judged on how functional their hack is, specifically the features that they have.
  • Working Functionality
    Hackers will be judged on how well the features they describe in their hack work in practice.
